WooCommerce Account Creation
WooCommerce controls the creation of the user account based upon the settings within WooCommerce, Settings, Accounts & Privacy.
Recommendations for those settings are provided within How to configure the WooCommerce account options when using the ActiveMember360 WooCommerce Extension.
Creation of the WordPress User
If an account is to be created it will be done after submission of the WooCommerce order or account registration form.
WooCommerce always creates the user within WordPress prior to order completion.
To ensure that this WordPress user can login to the site prior to them existing as an ActiveCampaign contact that satisfies the requirements detailed within Controlling Site Access, ActiveMember360 and WordPress Login you should specify that within ActiveMember360, Settings, Login, Allow login without a membership tag is set to Yes.
With such a setting if an order fails, for whatever reason, the user can login to the site to resolve any issue.
New User Email
If the settings suggested within How to configure the WooCommerce account options when using the ActiveMember360 WooCommerce Extension are used WooCommerce will send a new user an email enabling them to set their password.
This email is sent from WordPress by WooCommerce. WordPress incorporates filters for plugins etc. to set the email from name and address.
Both WooCommerce and ActiveMember360 use such filters. However the ActiveMember360 filters run after those of WooCommerce and therefore control the email from name and address. These will be those specified within ActiveMember360, Settings, Mailing.
If you wish WooCommerce to control the email from name and address you can remove our filters by following the instruction within ActiveMember360, Settings, Mailing, Notes for developers.
