mbr_is_session

Usage

This shortcode determines the content to be included based upon the existence of the specified $_SESSION variable and it's optionally specified value.

Parameters

Parameters	Description
var	The name of the $_SESSION variable for whose existence you are checking. Default: none. Required: yes.
val	A value to which the $_SESSION variable will be compared to evaluate to true. Default: none. Required: no.

Validity

This shortcode is evaluated for any type of visitor.

Conditional Branching

[ELSE_is_session] conditional branching is supported.

Nesting

Shortcode nesting is supported: [mbr_is_session1] thru [mbr_is_session19]
[ELSE_is_session1] thru [ELSE_is_session19]
[/mbr_is_session1] thru [/mbr_is_session19]

Examples

Example 1

Will display "Test SESSION is set" if $_SESSION['test_session'] exists:

[mbr_is_session name='test_session']
Test SESSION is set
[/mbr_is_session]

Example 2

Will display "Test SESSION is set" if $_SESSION['test_session'] exists. Otherwise will display "Test SESSION is NOT set":

[mbr_is_session name='test_session']
Test SESSION is set
[ELSE_is_session]
Test SESSION is NOT set
[/mbr_is_session]

Example 3

Will display "Test SESSION is set to 123" if $_SESSION['test_session'] exists AND its value is equal to 123. Otherwise will display "Test SESSION is NOT set to a value equal to 123":

[mbr_is_session name='test_session' val='123']
Test SESSION is set to 123
[ELSE_is_session]
Test SESSION is NOT set to a value equal to 123
